Your Salty Paw Stay: What to Expect, From Check-In to Check-Out

Barefoot Landing

If this is your first stay with us, here’s a straightforward walkthrough of what to expect, so there’s nothing to guess at when you arrive.

Before you arrive, you’ll receive check-in details directly from us, along with everything you need to know about parking, building access, and anything specific to your unit at Patricia Grand Resort. If you booked directly (which most of our guests do, for the better rate), you’ll also get direct contact information for Michael and Dena, so any last-minute questions have a real person on the other end.

When you arrive, your unit will already be stocked with the basics for your dog — bowls, a dog bed, waste bags — so you’re not scrambling to find a pet store on day one. You’ll also find Belle’s welcome letter waiting for your dog specifically, which tends to be the first thing guests photograph.

During your stay, you’re oceanfront from the moment you wake up. The beach is right outside, the boardwalk and a handful of restaurants are a short walk away, and the wider Grand Strand — Huntington Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens, Barefoot Landing — is a short drive if you want to explore further.

If anything comes up mid-stay, a question, a need, an issue with the unit, direct booking means you’re reaching an actual person, not a support queue.

At check-out, we’ll have clear instructions waiting for you, nothing complicated or last-minute.

That’s the whole experience: thoughtful before you arrive, comfortable while you’re here, and easy on the way out. No surprises, just an oceanfront stay that was actually planned around you and your dog.
